The Story of Stuff is a 20 minute video created by Annie Leonard that uses clever animations to teach people (especially kids) about consumption, distribution, and disposal.

Although some claim its message is blatantly anti-capitalist, more than 6 million people have viewed the video at its official site, and millions more on YouTube.

Many teachers have even been screening it for their students in an effort to bridge the gap between what textbooks say about environmentalism, and what can actually be done.
