Lotus Moon Hydro Therapy Eye Serum

As someone who, luckily, doesn’t have much issue with puffiness or under eye irritation, I wasn’t especially interested in a product whose only function it is is to relieve under eye issues. However, I quickly realized that even if your under eyes are flawless, this is still a great product to add to your daily or weekly facial care routine. Immediately upon rolling the serum under my eyes, I felt a cooling sensation. Not an overpowering cooling like Vick’s Vapo Rub, but a gentle cooling that also felt soothing. I could feel the tension I didn’t even know I had just wash away. I personally like being able to feel the products I use working on my skin, although sometimes that isn’t what’s best for it. In this case, being able to feel the product working was nice.

I’ve been using the roll-on hydro therapy eye serum for a few weeks now, and like I said earlier, I may not be the best person to use as an example, but I haven’t noticed any significant change in the appearance of my under eyes. I love using the product because it smells great and provides instant soothing, but I haven’t seen any change to how firm or puffy my eyes are. They definitely haven’t gotten worse though, so that’s something to keep in mind.

In addition to the rose water, which is used as a base here, the Hydro-Therapy serum uses ingredients including jojoba oil, shea butter, caffeine, hyaluronic acid, and vitamin E, all of which are wonderful for skin (not just under eye skin)!

The Hydro Therapy Eye Serum is being sold for $27.95 on the SMB Essentials website. I think that’s a bit steep for what it is, especially since it has been proven that you don’t need special products specifically for eye issues. If you have very puffy under-eyes, it will definitely help to sooth that, but I don’t believe that it will actually correct any issues in the long term.

Overall, I really like the products Lotus Moon sells. They aren’t tested on animals, and they use 100% natural, vegan, and gluten-free ingredients which is a big draw for many proponents of natural beauty products. Many of their ingredients are organic as well. You can tell that the company really cares about their customers, and they put in a lot of effort to give us the most information about what we’re putting on our skin as possible. I love that the website includes the pH rating of each product so that I can tell how it will affect my skin.

Overall, this product smells great, and it does what it says it will – soothes – to an extent. It is a bit on the pricy side, though, and for that amount of money, I would expect more dramatic results.
