As we start the BBQ season in North America, here is a great and easy recipe for your next cookout with friends.

I make these as mini slider buns with black sesame seed and soy sauce mushrooms.

Truly worth a shot if you’re up for a rewarding bread challenge.

As we start the BBQ season in North America, here is a great and easy recipe for your next cookout with friends. I make these as mini slider buns with black sesame seed and soy sauce mushrooms. Truly worth a shot if you're up for a rewarding bread challenge.

Ingredients

  • 500 g flour
  • 30 g sugar
  • 17 g salt
  • 18 g fresh yeast
  • 7 eggs
  • 85 ml milk
  • 250 g butter softened

Instructions

  1. Take the yeast milk and eggs, and stir until the yeast has dissolved
  2. In a mixer with a dough hook add flour salt and sugar. Mix on a low speed and slowly add the yeast mixture
  3. Once combined and it starts to form into a loose ball, start to add the softened butter bit-by-bit
  4. Keep mixing on a low speed until the gluten starts to form
  5. Scrape out of the bowl and place in a covered container overnight
  6. The next day, take out and shape into desired size.
  7. Cover and let the dough rise for 1 hr or until double the size in a warmish area of your kitchen.
  8. Egg was the tops and sprinkle with sesame seed, sea salt or etc.
  9. Bake at 325°F +- 15 min until fully baked.
  10. Let cool and enjoy
