Ingredients
  • 1lb tomatillos
  • 4 medium applespeeled and chopped
  • 1 large white oniondiced
  • 1 jalapenochopped and seeded
  • 1/2cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2cup brown sugarlight or dark
  • 1/2cup raisins or dried cranberries
  • 1tablespoon fresh grated ginger
  • 1/2teaspoon kosher salt
Instructions
  1. Husk and wash the tomatillos. Roughly chop them.
  2. Place all of the ingredients in a medium saucepan, and bring to a light simmer over medium heat. Cover, and reduce heat to low.
  3. Cook for 20 minutes stirring occasionally. Uncover to reduce any remaining liquid.
