Ford has come up with a unique way to launch the newest car to be added to their North American line-up, and they’re hoping you can experience the car better from behind your computer than from behind the wheel. The Ford Fiesta, already launched in Europe, is making its American debut with 28 drivers in California who were selected to test drive the car before it’s released to the US market based on their submissions to YouTube explaining why they are the best candidate to promote the Fiesta. Now, it’s their responsibility to document their “special missions” on Flickr, Facebook, YouTube, and of course Twitter, for everyone to see. The ECOnetic model of the most recent European release of the vehicle can attain up to 78 mpg, making the Fiesta a fuel efficient all-star.
