It may look like a jacked-up wheelchair, but the new PUMA model (Personal Urban Mobility and Accessibility) created by GM and Segway could be the vehicle of the future for two reasons: it would eliminate urban traffic jams, and be a clean alternative to cars. The two-wheeled and two-seated design would also be tapped into a city-wide communications network to regulate the flow of traffic and prevent crashes.
