2009 Honda Insight Hybrid Debuting in January

The unveiling of the much anticipated 2009 Honda Insight Hybrid is just around the corner, with its appearance lined up for the North American International Auto Show next month in Detroit. The main selling feature of the Insight is its affordability – it’s expected to be the cheapest hybrid on the market when its released next year. Plus, the new Insight is going to feature a new fuel economy enhancement technology called the Ecological Drive Assist System (Eco Assist). Honda is already predicting global sales of around 200,000 Insights next year alone with 100,000 in North America alone. Better get used to seeing lots of these on the roads next year.
