Have you ever been stuck with a dead battery in your remote and, instead of leaving to go and buy some more, you daydream about using a urine powered battery instead? Probably not, that’s a pretty weird daydream. But somebody did, and they came up with the NoPoPo battery that is able to be recharged and run off of beer, coffee, tea, water, and even pee.Pee Powered Battery

Have you ever been stuck with a dead battery in your remote and, instead of leaving to go and buy some more, you daydream about using a urine powered battery instead? Probably not, that’s a pretty weird daydream. But somebody did, and they came up with the NoPoPo battery that is able to be recharged and run off of beer, coffee, tea, water, and even pee. When the liquid comes in contact with the carbon and magnesium inside the battery, a chemical reaction occurs that produces 500 milliamp hours for whatever you might need it for. You can keep refilling it until the carbon and magnesium run out. It’s definitely one of the coolest new inventions, but I’m still unsure why they felt the need to advertise it by stressing that urine can power it? Does it seem like a good idea, or just a tricky marketing ploy?
