The new kitchen design is meant to reduce waste in your kitchen, and help save energy. The idea is to use the water and heat generated from appliances like your fridge or your oven to help fuel other appliances, like your dishwasher. It’s estimated that a system such as the one proposed by Whirlpool will be able to save your kitchen about 24% of your normal energy consumption.
