Dirty air in Perry’s Texas from oil refineries

A recent feature on the residents of Port Arthur, Texas have found that the small town has some of the dirtiest air in the United States due to the concentration of oil refineries. As Texas has been under the control of Governor Rick Perry for almost 11 years, many are saying that the blame for the air pollution in the region – and elsewhere throughout Texas – falls on his lap.
