The results of a 2009 survey on green buying in America are in, and the results are a bit surprising. Check it out:
• Only 3% of people believe climate change isn’t real
• 52% of respondents believe climate change is caused by humans
• 64% of 18-34 year olds believe climate change is caused by humans
• 82% of consumers are still buying green products, even if they cost a little bit more
The one result that remains constant through the surveys conducted is that most people feel they need to be better educated on green product claims. Regardless, the results show good news for the green industry!
