The new head of the Energy Department will be Steven Chu, a Nobel prize winner in physics, and the current director of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. The new White House policy coordinator for energy and climate change will be Carol Browner, the former head of the EPA under the Clinton administration. And finishing off the team is Lisa Jackson, the new head of the Environmental Protection Agency, and Nancy Sutley, the head of the White House Council on Environmental Quality. This seems like a well-qualified team, and hopefully they have what it takes to make a big difference in the next 4 years.
