“If you give me your vote on Tuesday, we won’t just win this election. Together, we will change this country and change the world.”

That powerful statement came from Senator Obama yesterday after he promised that his “green recovery” plans will be his top priority when he steps into the Oval Office. He’s proposed 5 million new jobs in a “green collar economy” and energy security if he’s elected, and plans to create them by investing $15 billion per year for the next 10 years into stabilizing our sustainable energy fields. These investments will, in turn, create jobs that cannot be outsourced, and will reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Sure, the plan sounds very ambitious, but it needs to be for the state we’re in right now. Please do your part and get out and vote!!
