A new project dubbed Climate Change in Our World is a result of cooperation between Google Earth’s team and Britain’s Environment Ministry. Google Earth Outreach has been working hard to incorporate learning opportunities about global issues into their software (available here), but this new animated map can show predictions for global effects of climate change over the next 100 years. It builds upon information we already have about drastically changing weather patterns in certain regions, and what role we can play in helping divert potential upcoming crises. If nothing else, it’s really cool – so check it out.
