Affectionately known to some as Karl the Fog, the fog of the San Francisco Bay Area is notorious. But most haven’t seen it in the same light as it’s been captured in the above video (or available here) by photographer Simon Christen.

According to Christen, the short video which he titled Adore, is:

… a love letter to the fog of the San Francisco Bay Area. I chased it for over two years to capture the magical interaction between the soft mist, the ridges of the California coast and the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.

I hope with my short film I am able to convey the feeling of happiness I felt while I was capturing those stunning scenes.
