The events of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill are still fresh in the minds of many, but as time goes on and we hear less and less about the residual effects of the oil spill, we seem to think that the problem is solved. However, according to the National Resources Defense Council and researchers from leading universities, there is still much going on beneath the surface of the water to be concerned about.

This leads many to ask the question, “Where did the oil go”?
