This wild crow, nicknamed 007, easily completed one of the most complex tests of the animal mind. The setup is that the bird only has ready access to a small stick, and a piece of food is stuck in an area that the stick won’t reach. After inspecting the setup, 007 uses a short stick to gather enough pebbles to weight down and release a larger stick which can be used to reach the food.

Crows don’t get a lot of credit, but once you see this video you’ll probably think otherwise when one flies by you.
