Anyone who follows ‘green news’ has heard by now that plastic, and in particular Bisphenol-A, is not very healthy for living creatures, or ecosystems for that matter. But the extent to which plastic is detrimental to our health has not necessarily been made entirely clear.
A new movie, titled Plastic Planet, hopes to solve that issue by raising awareness about how much plastic we consume, and what it’s doing to our planet and our bodies.
The film has been out for about a year in Europe, but it is finally being released in North America on January 14, 2011. Check out the trailer, and the movie’s official description below.
