In November over 500 players had signed on, and so far this season another 420 have joined the NHLPA’s Carbon Neutral Challenge.

The program was launched with the help of David Suzuki, and the carbon credits are going to fund solar stove projects in Madagascar, India, and Indonesia. It’s great to see the players counteracting the environmental effects of their travels.
