NRG Energy has just completed their 8,000 panel solar power installation at FedExField, home to the Washington Redskins, and lucky for us, they snapped a LOT of pictures during the construction – enough to put together an awesome time-lapse video showing the entire process.
The FedExField solar installation, constructed over an existing parking lot, will generate enough power to offset 20% of the power used on game days, and completely offset the stadium’s energy requirements on non-game days.
