GBAR will be taking advantage of a new Green Designation created by the National Association of Realtors which is designed to educate realtors about LEED, Energy Star, and other environmental rating services that can help save potential home buyers money and energy. Over 70 GBAR members earned the certification in January with a few dozen more expected to receive it in the next month. Boston may soon become one of the greenest areas to buy a home thanks to the Green Designation.
