When most people think Timberland, they picture hiking boots (or maybe by accident, this guy). But Timberland makes more than just boots – in fact, their new SS09 line is pretty stylish, and it’s earth friendly too. The boat shoes for men and ballerina slip-ons for women all feature recycled PET lining, organic cotton and canvas, and only uses leathers from a tannery that received a silver rating for reduced energy use and waste. As if that weren’t enough, Timberland is also sponsoring the Green Apple Festival taking place over Earth Day Weekend this year, proving they are definitely a green business worth supporting.
