All of the excess water that drips off your body after a rinse down doesn’t need to go to waste anymore. Instead, it can help keep your bath mat alive! This is one of the coolest and most practical green products available for your bathroom: the living bath mat, made of natural moss.

The designer Nguyen La Chanh, from Switzerland, created the mat with 70 pieces of ball, island, and forest moss, making for a super soft, and ultra natural place to step from your tub. Bathrooms are one spot in the home that seem to be overlooked when going green with plants, but the living bath mat seems to be the solution!

Unfortunately, the first prototype cost over $300 USD to make, so Nguyen is looking for financial investors to to start mass producing the quality bath mats. Anyone brave enough to try to make one on your own?
