MTV LogoMTV, the same station that has created such national treasures as The Hills, Newlyweds, the Real World appears to have failed society once again – this time, by destroying part of the rainforest. While filming the newest edition of the Road Rules/Real World Challenge on Boca Del Drago Island in the Republic of Panama, cast and crew cleared a large section of rainforest, left garbage on what used to be untouched land, and didn’t follow regulations for a bird sanctuary that was supposed to be off limits to people. This report comes from Michael Drake of the Tree Climbers’ Coalition Site, and features pictures of the big mess that MTV left behind. Oh, by the way, MTV wants you to go green
