Pictured above is a cool new innovative design by Jongoh Lee, which she calls the “Invisible Streetlight”. It’s invisible because of the way it appears during the day (pictured here), and at night time, the light sensor uses stored solar energy to light up like a natural streetlight. I’m not sure if the lights could produce enough light to really light up a street, but I’m more interested in someone mass producing these for use in backyards or patios. If there’s any takers, there are more pictures, and design features available to see in her portfolio here, and > Invisible Streetlight” href=”” target=”_blank” rel=”noopener”>more coverage at InHabitat here.
