Dell‘s latest offering in their line of “Studio Project” personal computers is the Studio Hybrid that, as you may have guessed, is supposed to evoke thoughts of energy efficiency in the same way that a hybrid car does for fuel efficiency. The entire tower (if you can even call it that) is 80% smaller than its competitors, uses 70% less energy, and packing materials have been drastically reduced by 30%, and are nearly all recyclable. The starting price for one of these cool new computers is only $499, and each comes with 7 different colour sleeves to customize with – including a cool, eco-inspired bamboo finish. All the tech specs and purchasing options are available at Dell’s site here, so keep it in mind if you’re trying to cut costs in your home or office.
