If you’re getting frustrated with your screensaver coming on too early while you’re just trying to save a little electricity, the newest monitor from LG is right for you. The Flatron W2252TE is a 22 inch widescreen LCD that uses 45% less power than its competitors, and shines just as bright as them. Although we’re seeing lots of new products jumping on the energy efficient bandwagon to meet Energy Star standards, most monitors are still huge power drains at home and at the office. When the monitor is released this August, it will essentially look the same as its rivals for a higher cost, but keep in mind the savings you’ll see on your energy bill at the end of the month. It’s a perfect product for upgrading your home office, or helping your college student cut down on their utility bills come September.
