If the seasonal weather has got you down, there’s a simple fix – add some greenery and start your own little indoor garden.

Not only are you brightening up your conservatory, but the addition of a few plants could also see you benefit from numerous health benefits too.

There are an estimated 391,000 species of vascular plants currently known to science, all of which potentially have their own benefits. Some plants have been proven to reduce stress, as well as boosting our immune system and general well being and even help improve our concentration.

Don’t just take our word for it though, it’s even been proven by the Journal of Environmental Psychology that Anthurium plants (a genus of about 1000 species of flowering plants) are known for decreasing stress.

This simple infographic from ConservatoryBlinds4Less shows you the benefits you can expect to find from some of the more popular household plants you might find in the local garden centre.
