How to catch a mouse without killing it

If you’ve got a mouse problem in your house, but you’re too much of an animal lover to use a traditional mouse trap that kills the mice it catches, give this trick a try:

If you can’t watch the video, here’s the rundown:

  1. Flatten a toilet paper roll
  2. Put cheese or peanut butter on one end
  3. Place the flattened toilet paper roll flat side down on a table, with the end that has the treat hanging slightly over the edge
  4. Place an empty waste bin below the end of the roll that’s over the edge of the table

And that’s it – now you can catch and release your pesky rodent friend outside rather than seeing it killed.
